[/style] It was late, nearly three in the morning, but Casper couldn't sleep. He was too full of energy. Plus, the caffeine and sugar he had consumed during the day was not helping matters too much. His hair was a mess and he still had remnants of stage makeup on, and he had changed in to some sleep clothes. He probably looked a fright. Cas didn't really care. The vocalist made his way through the bus and to AJ's bunk, where he knocked on the frame a bit before poking his head in. "AJ, you awake?" he questioned his usual, late night partner-in-crime. He didn't want to just sit on the bus, bored out of his mind. So, he figured that he would ask AJ if she wanted to come to IHOP with him. It wasn't uncommon for the two of them to make late night trips out and about whenever they could. Cassi was quite fond of those times, actually, and held them as some of his best memories. Of course, a lot of things with his band mates got that label.
They were his family, after all, and were there for him more than anyone else, except his little brother. That was another story all together, though. Cas missed the guy a lot, to be honest. However, those thoughts weren't really on his mind. His focus was on AJ and getting coffee from IHOP. And probably some pancakes. Or waffles. Waffles were good. Either way, he'd decide later. For the time being he just poked AJ's side lightly, seriously hoping that he wasn't waking her up because that could be bad. He didn't fear her or anything, but waking someone up was never a good thing. At least Cas didn't think so. He didn't like being woken up himself; so, why do it to someone else? It didn't make any sense.

you're the one that i should never take, but i can't sleep until i devour you - - - - - AJ usually slept well even on tour; unfortunately it was the first few weeks of the tour that was hell, she didn’t have a problem sleeping while someone driving but it was the confide space of her bunk that was driving her absolutely mad and add in the fact the bus was parked didn’t help lull her to sleep. Eventually she would get over it or her band mates would notice how on edge she was from no sleep and tell her to leave her curtain open if it helped it was the cycle they went through every year. But she had a light on that night so she shut the curtain so everyone else could sleep, but she could still feel the tight space and small walls around her which was edging on the back of her mind. Her body was exhausted, she knew it because the night before she spent most of the night playing video games, got to bed at about five in the morning (on pure accident) then got woken up at eight by a huge pothole the bus drove over at seventy miles an hour…she had a headache that day.
She was still hot and sweaty from the show and although she got most of the makeup off her it still felt like she had the thick body paint on her chest and arms. Sighing, AJ rolled onto her side to stare at the wall after turning off the small flashlight in hopes to get some rest before she was dragged back out to the heat. As her eyes closed she heard the shift in weight on the bus, but blew it off as someone getting up to use the bathroom or something. Her blank mind snapped awake again though as she heard a soft knock at the frame of her bunk and the oh-so familiar voice of the singer of SIN, Casper. “AJ, you awake?” is what all she heard from Cas and she turned right as he poked his head into the bunk. Rubbing her eyes a bit, AJ turned to the other side to come face to face with the man. “Cas…? Hmmm…I was….I think.” [/b] AJ mumbled tiredly as her legs restlessly shifted under the light blankets that she had. After rubbing the tiredness from her eyes AJ looked up to her band mates and automatically knew that the guy hadn’t gotten sleep either and didn’t want to be confined to a bunk. Which only meant one thing…IHOP. Kicking the blankets from her legs, AJ ducked past Cas and opened the curtain to her bunk, “Lemme grab my shoes.”[/b] AJ mumbled through a yawn, Cas didn’t even have to ask it was three in the morning and with the thought of IHOP, AJ really wanted waffles now. It didn’t take her long to find her normal walking shoes as boots plus a sleepy AJ did not mix well and usually ended up with her stumbling around a lot more than normal. She also grabbed her jacket that surprisingly still held her cigarettes, lighter, and cell phone in the pockets before she headed towards the bus door. “C’mon slowpoke!”[/b] AJ spoke softly but teasingly so not to wake the others as she descended the steps, now a little more awake than before since she was moving around and somewhat active. [/style] "Cas…? Hmmm…I was….I think." Of course, Cas immediately felt bad. He had potentially woken up his friend, who seemed tired. That was no good. He was just about to apologize when AJ kicked off her blankets and slipped out of the bunk stating she needed to get her shoes. The vocalist grinned and flicked his hair out of his eyes after leaning back out from her bunk. It was kind of amusing that he did not even need to ask anymore. AJ just knew. It was a sign of just how long they had been friends if they could anticipate things like that. "C’mon slowpoke!" Cas huffed playfully and quietly shut the bus door after himself as he followed AJ out of the bus and to the parking lot. "Not all of us can be Speedy Gonzales, you know," the scrawny young man countered as he quickly caught up with her and threw an arm over her shoulders while walking. "At least this one is just down the road and not a few miles away?"
The singer snickered a little at the statement, remembering the time that he and AJ had stolen the van that carried their equipment to go on one of their late night runs. Their manager had not been too thrilled about that idea. It had been fun, though. "So, what d'you think will be peoples' reactions to us this time?" It was always one of Casper's favorite past times, trying to figure out just what those around him could possibly be thinking about the craziness that tended to surround himself and his friends. They were all a bit weird in their own right. It was part of the reason they got on so well, at least Cas thought so. He could have been wrong, but eh. He wasn't too worried about it. They were who they were, and that was enough. At least, he thought so, which was the point. The singer figuratively shook off his thoughts and flicked his unruly hair back out of his eyes. "I think we should try to get people to sing while we're there," he randomly stated with a serious nod, glancing down at his feet as he stumbled a bit over a rock on the ground. "Oops." Okay, maybe he should focus more on walking and less on talking. It was probably safer.

you're the one that i should never take, but i can't sleep until i devour you - - - - - AJ couldn’t stop herself from yawning as she rummaged around bus for her shoes, they were here somewhere she just didn’t have the mindset to actually look. That was until she almost tripped over them. As they two exited the bus AJ yawned again and shook her head to try and get rid of the tiredness edging on her mind. She barely caught Cas talking about something like Speedy Gonzales or something like that. “I am not…now I am hungry since you made me think of waffles. By the way you’re buying.” AJ stated, it wasn’t really a statement he could refuse, he could try but AJ wouldn’t budge this time, plus she didn’t have her wallet on her this time. She almost tumbled over when Casper decided to throw his arm over her shoulder but she recovered quickly. “Yeah, I don’t want to have to steal the van again, I don’t need our manager up my ass again.” [/b] AJ stated vaguely remembering the last time AJ and Cas decided they wanted food at three in the morning but the nearest IHOP was at least five miles away, and there was no way in hell AJ was walking that far. AJ dug around in her pockets as the two musicians walked out of the venue and towards wherever the IHOP was in this city. She finally pulled out her cigarette box and lighter than had somehow stayed in the jacket when she dumped it on the couch after another long day at the signing booths. She lit one up as she heard Cas ask her something about the fans and she shrugged, “Same as always probably. ‘Oh my god those guys look weird. Oh wait, their music isn’t as bad as stupid people say. And you can’t forget the girls thoughts, ‘Oh my god the leader singer his hot.’[/b] AJ went on about what most people probably thought about them. Honestly she didn’t care, she played the music she did because she loved it; having people actually like what she helped make made it a little better. Add in the fact she was half asleep AJ didn’t really realize her last statement, but that was true as well. Another yawn came from AJ as she held onto the cigarette between her fingers. She didn’t smoke religiously, usually just when she wanted to. Again she nodded, her mind slowly becoming more and more awake as they walked on, movement always made AJ wake up after a while, that is why she usually did a lot of walking around after she woke up. She was about to say something but she felt a shift in weight from Cas and instinctively her arm shot out to catch up since Cas was known to be more clumsy that AJ was when hyped up on caffeine and sugar. But the whole plan didn’t really work in her favor as she almost tumbled as well with no mindset to keep her own coordination centered at three in the morning. “Yeah…sure…”[/b] AJ agreed, or so she thought to whatever Cas said. Making sure they were both steady AJ flicked some ashes off the end of the cancer stick, “So, how far are you dragging me this time?”[/b] In truth AJ didn’t see an IHOP on their way into town with the tour, then again she was too busy playing video games when they arrived to notice.
